Years ago when I travelled back and forth to work, I would ask God to show me something I had not seen before. I marvelled at what I saw. One time I saw a big buck sitting just a couple of car lengths in the open area. Beautiful animal.
In the last 2 weeks I [...]

In 2002 we put down vinyl in our kitchen. We went with an expensive (for us) Armstrong vinyl that has been holding [...]

For many Americans, Monday will be a paid Holiday. Many will be excited about getting the day off. I wonder if we ever pause to think why it is a Holiday. It is part of our history that we should be proud of. I don’t understand why some hold on to their discrimination against one [...]

I went to my First Place weight loss program this past Sunday. Everyone was so nice and it appeared that only one other person was what I consider to be overweight-a lot. That is to say, one woman looked to be a size 6 or 7, several size 12, and majority a size [...]

My sister opened her home to our nephew in October. Things have not been going well, so she wrote him a letter on Wednesday giving him until Saturday to get out. Needless to say, this has upset my other sister and my nephew. Every one is stressed out. My nephew doesn’t [...]

♥This is the day that the Lord hath made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.
This scripture is taken from the book of Psalms. Please note that the Lord is in charge of every day. He has made the day and He tells us to rejoice in the day and be glad in it. [...]

The New Year and the Old Year are in our thoughts during the months of January. Now that the rush of the Holiday season is over it is a time to reflect and make goals for the coming years.
God’s Word spoke to me in 2007 and here are some of the things God put in my [...]

My daughter and I were talking about families who had such strong differences that they no longer speak to each other. She thought it was unusual behavior. However, it happens in a lot of homes and stays that way until one of them dies. I have learned that it is challenging to try to help [...]
