There is nothing more powerful than the Word of God. I love to find treasurers in the Bible. Here are a few I’ve found during my devotions.
Listen to me…I am He….This is what the Lord says (your Redeemer, The Holy One), I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is [...]

Many [...]

They left the food on the counter and stove top and we used it like a buffet. You picked up your plate, got your [...]

After Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead the Jewish leaders wanted them both dead. A great crowd followed Jesus no doubt wanting Him to do miracles. Can’t you imagine what it must have been like. I know I would follow Jesus to see if He would make my loved ones come alive from death.
Jesus came to set up [...]

I’m fortunate, I don’t live in an abusive environment any more. Abuse can happen in our homes, or any other place, as a child, teenager, spouse, friends and yes, family.
My mother committed suicide when I was in the 4th grade. I did not know how she died until I was in the 8th grade. My dad [...]

Yesterday we picked up our 9 year old grandson from school and stopped by our church to visit with our Pastor. Our grandson was not thrilled at all, he wanted to go our house and play.
What I witnessed during our visit will stay with me a long time (I hope). Our Pastor turned his attention [...]
