We had fun on Saturday along with some unexpectant company from North Carolina. We had plenty of food although the macaroni salad was a little dry. I wasn’t sure what to do so…I placed a little bit of milk in the macaroni salad and stirred it up and it was fine.
It made me realize that having good Christian fellowship makes the verse in Proverbs ring true. I’m not sure why we cleaned before everyone came since we need to clean afterwards -especially vacuuming carpet. It was a nice Happy Day for me.
The only thing that could have been better was to have the third family come but it ended up that one of the kids got sick.
It sounds like you had a great visit. I’m sorry your other friends weren’t able to join you for the day. That just gives you a reason to have them over another day.
Sorry all of your company couldn’t make it. Sounds like you had a great visit. And remember dry food and wet makes great food fight ammunition. Just kidding. Whenever we have company over for a cookout you had better watch out it ALWAYS ends up in a food fight. Mostly just with watermelon. Then we get the hose out and have a great time with that. I am going to miss those cook outs with the weather getting cooler here.
